Working on this brief was a real pleasure, the client is a very creative writer who already had some really cool ideas for me to start with. That, combined with a really strong concept in ‘Dead Roots’ anthology, made this a lot of fun.
This project was a great example of my abilities to liaise effectively with a client and the success of this outcome led on to not only other graphic design requirements on ‘Dead Roots’ such as credits pages but the client also came back for my help in a design consultancy role in the production of his promotional material.
The logo is compromised of consists of an original vector design and a 26 character bespoke typeface, created to help build a brand consistency.
“Mike Stock worked quickly and professionally providing me with a selection of alternative designs for my approval whilst creating the Dead Roots logo. Mike was receptive of any changes that I wanted and brought a great deal of creative, artistic input to the design. I am extremely happy with what Mike created for me and can’t recommend him highly enough.”
As well as the Dead Roots logo I have also had the opportunity to letter several of the stories in the anthology.
