A lot of my work as a freelance designer has been with small businesses and individuals who want create a more professional identity as they look to market themselves to their audience.
Creating an identity or logo is one of the most challenging aspects of design, a huge amount of thought and development has to go into creating a symbol or mark that translates not only the companies name but their ethos and personality too. At the same time originality is key to creating something memorable and meaningful, that sets you apart from the competition.
On a smaller scale when pitching projects or ideas to other people can be a nerve-wracking experience and a logo or professional appearance for it will greatly improve your chances. It helps potential investors or collaborators view it in context, understand it’s potential and embrace your passion and belief in it.
